WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR Pet WASTE REMOVAL SERVICES
LET'S START WITH THE BASICS
1. How does a pet waste removal service work?
We show up on your scheduled service day, scoop all visible dog waste from your yard, double-check the area, bag everything up, and take it with us. It’s a hassle-free way to keep your yard clean and fresh.
2. Do I need to be home?
Nope! As long as the yard is accessible and the gate is unlocked, we’re good to go.
3. How do you handle waste disposal?
We securely bag all pet waste during service. If your outdoor trash can or waste receptacle is easily accessible at the time of service, our technicians will dispose of the sealed bag there. If not, we’ll haul the waste away for you.
4. What if my yard is really messy to start with?
That’s why we’re here! We offer judgment-free service at an affordable rate.
5. What if I just want a one-time cleanup?
We offer these too. They have to be custom quoted, but we charge based on how long it takes to do the job.
6. What if I need to pause service?
We have a customer portal that lets you easily pause and resume service at any point.
7. What if the weather is bad?
We work in most weather. However, if there is severe weather we will let you know that we need to reschedule (or pull double duty next week).
8. Can I request a specific time or service day?
Unfortunately, we can’t usually accommodate service day or time requests. Our business works because we can create efficient routes for our drivers. What we can do, however, is keep you on the same service day week after week, which will allow you to plan ahead. Our working hours are 9 am – 5 pm.
9. What exactly do you scoop — and what don’t you?
We scoop all visible dog waste from your yard. We typically cover backyards (because that’s where dog fences are). We don’t clean front yards, patios, decks, rocks, mulch beds, or other non-grassy areas unless otherwise discussed. Just let us know your specific circumstance and we’ll see what we can do!
PAYMENTS & BILLING
1. How does payment work?
We securely store your card on file and bill you automatically on the first business day of each month. You’ll get an email receipt. No checks or cash needed. Your payment covers you for the upcoming month.
2. Do you offer refunds?
While we don’t offer refunds of any kind, we do offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If we miss anything, we’ll come back at no charge.
3. What if I want to cancel service?
You can cancel our service at any time. We will finish out the current billing period before taking you off the schedule.
4. What if my gate is locked or yard isn’t accessible? Will you still charge me?
We will notify you that we were unable to access your yard, and we’ll reach out to reschedule or we’ll pull double-duty on our next visit. We cannot offer refunds for missed services.
OTHER LOGISTICS
1. Can my dogs be outside while you work?
We love dogs, but for everyone’s safety we ask that you keep them inside while we work.
2. I signed up. When can I expect my first cleanup?
We’ll text or email you within 1 business day to confirm your start date. Most customers begin service within 2–3 days depending on your location and route.
3. What if I need to reschedule or change my plan?
You can text, email, or use our customer portal anytime. We just ask for at least 48 hours’ notice before your next visit.
4. What if I get another dog or move to a new address?
Just let us know! We can adjust your pricing and update your info quickly.
5. What if my grass is really high?
Tall grass makes scooping poop very hard, and it leads to missed piles (which we hate)! 10% of your pet’s waste may go undetected depending on how tall your grass is. We reserve the right to reschedule service as needed.
